ApoB und Lp(a) sind zwei Herz-Kreislauf-Werte, die im deutschen Check-up 35 nicht drinstehen: der deckt nur Gesamtcholesterin, LDL-C, HDL-C und Triglyzeride ab. ApoB zählt die tatsächlichen gefäßschädigenden Partikel (eines pro Partikel) statt nur deren Cholesterin-Masse, und die ESC/EAS-Leitlinie 2019 bevorzugt es bei hohen Triglyzeriden, Diabetes und metabolischem Syndrom (das fokussierte Update 2025 hat die ApoB-Empfehlung nicht überarbeitet). Lp(a) ist zu über 90 Prozent genetisch festgelegt und sollte laut EAS-Konsens 2022 bei jedem Erwachsenen einmal im Leben gemessen werden. Beides ist in DACH ohne klinische Indikation meist Selbstzahler (IGeL).
