About Christopher Wall

Christopher Wall is the co-founder, co-CEO and Chief Scientific Officer of Maven Health, a Lausanne-based EPFL spinout developing non-invasive saliva-based metabolomics for clinics, nutritionists and functional-medicine practitioners. He was originally trained as a pharmacist at Utrecht University and completed his PhD specialising in mitochondrial functions at EPFL in 2021. Wall co-founded Maven Health with data scientist Kevin Hof. The company's core product is a saliva-based metabolite-measurement protocol and an insights platform that turns metabolomic data into actionable recommendations. Maven received a CHF 100,000 FIT Innogrant from EPFL in January 2024 and pre-seed funding from S2S Ventures. In 2025 Maven launched its UK and Ireland rollout in partnership with Regenerus Laboratories and published a whitepaper on the metabolic effects of the Eat by Alex ReSet programme. According to his co-founder, Maven placed second in the public vote of the MedTech category at the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award 2025. His scientific identity is rooted in cellular metabolism and mitochondrial biology.
