About Dominik Duscher
PD Dr. Dr. med. Dominik Duscher is a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery, longevity physician, scientist and entrepreneur. He studied medicine at the Medical University of Vienna, University College London and Harvard Medical School, then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine at Stanford University (2013 to 2015).
From 2017 to 2020 he headed the Experimental Plastic Surgery research division at Klinikum rechts der Isar, Technical University of Munich, where he completed his habilitation in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in 2020. He also serves as program director for applied regenerative medicine at the Department of Plastic Surgery of Eberhard Karls University Tübingen (BG Klinik Tübingen) and has been General Secretary of the European Plastic Surgery Research Council (EPSRC) since 2014.
Duscher is founder and director of the Longevity Center Munich, Europe's first institution for institutionalized longevity medicine, and co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of the biotech company Tomorrowlabs GmbH (founded 2016), which develops HSF-based skin and hair regeneration products. His research focuses on optimizing cell function in aging and diabetes, in particular stem cell dysfunction, regenerative mechanisms and their translational application.
