What is Longevity Bodensee?

Longevity Bodensee is a free, science-based community for people around Lake Constance (Bodensee) who want to stay healthy for longer. The chapter is based in Konstanz and is open to anyone on the German, Swiss or Austrian shore who is curious about movement, sleep, nutrition, stress and good relationships.

Past meetups show how the group works. The chapter kicked off on 9 May 2026 with a Matcha & Walk from the Matcho café on Bodanstraße in Konstanz towards Kreuzlingen. On 9 July 2026 followed Longevity ON the Lake, a community event at HOOKiPA in Staad on the Swiss shore with good conversations, fresh lake air and optional stand-up paddling: sport or no sport, everything can, nothing must.

Joining is free: create an account, join the Bodensee WhatsApp group linked on this page and check the calendar for the next date, including town and country. Longevity Bodensee is a community, not a longevity clinic or health club. People come here to learn, compare notes on tests and check-ups and ask experts their questions.

Frequently asked questions

What is Longevity Bodensee?
Longevity Bodensee is the Lake Constance chapter of Longevity Cities, a free and non-commercial community for healthy ageing, based in Konstanz. It connects people around the lake who want to know what really supports a long, healthy life: movement, sleep, food, stress and relationships. The group meets for walks and lakeside get-togethers. Anyone can join, no scientific background required.
Is there a longevity health club at Lake Constance?
Longevity Bodensee is not a health club or gym: it is a free community with no membership fee, no contract and no facility. Members meet outdoors, for example for a walk from Konstanz towards Kreuzlingen or a get-together by the lake, to talk about healthy ageing. If you want equipment or classes, a local gym is the better fit; if you want people and ideas, come along.
Is there a longevity clinic or longevity doctor around Lake Constance?
Longevity Bodensee is not a clinic or a doctor's practice: we are a free community and do not diagnose or treat. In Germany a private longevity check-up typically costs roughly 1,500 to 2,500 euros without imaging; on the Swiss shore clinic check-ups typically run roughly 1,000 to 2,000 francs, and basic insurance covers neither. Walk away from any offer promising to reverse ageing.
Where can I test my biological age near Konstanz?
Options are an epigenetic test by post (roughly 130 to 400 euros), an extended blood panel through your GP or a private lab (roughly 150 to 450 euros, on the Swiss side a longevity blood test from roughly 280 francs) and fitness markers such as VO2max and grip strength. Results differ between providers, so read them as a snapshot. The face-age test and VO2max calculator on this site are free.
What longevity events and meetups are there around Lake Constance?
Longevity Bodensee has so far held a kick-off Matcha & Walk in Konstanz on 9 May 2026 and the community event Longevity ON the Lake in Staad on 9 July 2026. The next dates, including town and country, are announced in the calendar on this page and in the Bodensee WhatsApp group.
Do I have to paddleboard at Longevity ON the Lake?
No, paddling was optional: the motto of the July 2026 event in Staad was sport or no sport, everything can, nothing must. You could simply come for conversation and lake air, while those who wanted to move could get a SUP on site. Drinks and board rental were paid separately, and each event listing states such costs upfront.
Where around Lake Constance do meetups take place, in Germany or Switzerland?
Both, so far: the kick-off started in Konstanz on the German shore and walked towards Kreuzlingen on the Swiss side, and Longevity ON the Lake took place in Staad in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen. Lake Constance borders Germany, Switzerland and Austria, so each calendar entry states town and country. Check it before you plan your trip, and bring an ID for border crossings.
Where can I find a biohacking and healthy-living community around Lake Constance?
Longevity Bodensee is a free place around the lake to talk biohacking and healthy living with an evidence filter. Bring your questions on sleep, training, nutrition, cold water or wearables. The group prefers real conversation outdoors over hype, and the Bodensee WhatsApp group linked on this page is where questions and ideas between meetups go.
What does Longevity Bodensee cost?
Joining Longevity Bodensee is free: an account and taking part in the community cost nothing. At events you pay for what you use yourself. At Longevity ON the Lake that meant drinks and, if you wanted to paddle, the SUP rental, while at the Konstanz kick-off it meant your own matcha or drink at the café. Each listing states costs upfront.
How do I join Longevity Bodensee and in which language are meetups held?
Create a free account, join the Bodensee WhatsApp group linked on this page and follow the calendar. Both meetups so far were announced in German, and the listing of each event states its language, so international residents around Konstanz can check before they come. You can also say in the group which town on the lake you would like the next meetup in.
