What is Longevity Phoenix?

Longevity Phoenix is a free, science-based community for people in Phoenix who want to stay healthy for longer. It is the Phoenix chapter of Longevity Cities, for anyone curious about routines that hold up in real life: movement, sleep, food, stress and good company. No background needed, just curiosity.

The chapter is just getting started and no meetup dates have been published yet. Living in the Valley of the Sun shapes the agenda: in summer the question is how to stay active when it is 110 degrees outside, and the short desert trails of Papago Park or the mountain preserves are the kind of places for early-morning walks once the group starts meeting. First dates will be announced on this page.

Joining is free: create an account, join the Phoenix WhatsApp group linked on this page and watch the events calendar for the first gathering. Longevity Phoenix is a community, not a longevity clinic. People come here to learn, compare notes on tests and check-ups, and ask questions, and members are welcome to propose meetups.

Frequently asked questions

What is Longevity Phoenix?
Longevity Phoenix is the Phoenix chapter of Longevity Cities, a free and non-commercial community for healthy aging. It is meant for people in the Phoenix area who want to learn about movement, sleep, nutrition and stress with others, using science as the filter. The chapter is in its early days: the first meetup has not been published yet, but you can join now.
Is there a longevity clinic in Phoenix?
Longevity Phoenix is not a clinic: we are a free community and do not diagnose or treat. Private longevity clinics and check-up programs are available in the Phoenix area, and in the US they typically cost from a few thousand to over 20,000 dollars a year. Before you pay, ask what decision each test result would change for you, and get the full price in writing, including follow-ups and supplements.
How can I find out my biological age in Phoenix?
You can order an epigenetic age test by mail (roughly 200 to 500 dollars), sign up for an annual blood-biomarker membership (roughly 350 to 500 dollars a year) or measure fitness markers yourself. On this site the free VO2max calculator, grip-strength test with age norms and face-age test give you a first picture in minutes. Biological age scores vary between providers, so use them to track trends, not to judge yourself.
Are there longevity events or meetups in Phoenix?
Longevity Phoenix has not published a meetup yet, and we would rather say so than invent a schedule. The chapter is forming now, and the first dates, most likely walks, talks or shared meals, will be posted in the events calendar on this page and in the Phoenix WhatsApp group. Joining the group now means you hear about the first gathering right away.
Can you stay active outdoors in Phoenix in the summer heat?
Many Phoenix locals shift outdoor exercise to early morning or after sunset in summer, or move indoors during the hottest weeks. It is a good topic for the community because it is a real local problem. Short desert paths like those in Papago Park suit cooler months and early hours. Carry water, and check with a doctor if you have heart or blood pressure issues.
Where can I find a biohacking and healthy living community in Phoenix?
Longevity Phoenix is a free place to talk biohacking and healthy living in Phoenix, with an evidence filter instead of hype. Ask about sleep trackers, heat adaptation, sauna, supplements or protein, and hear from people who have tried things themselves. You do not need any gear to start. The Phoenix WhatsApp group linked on this page is where the conversation begins.
How can I meet like-minded people in Phoenix?
Join the Longevity Phoenix WhatsApp group now and you will be among the first to meet the community when the first meetup is announced. Founding members shape what happens: an early walk, a dinner or a talk on sleep are all possible. The community is mixed in age and background, and coming alone is completely normal, especially if you are new to the Valley.
What does Longevity Phoenix cost and how do I join?
Longevity Phoenix is free to join: create an account, join the Phoenix WhatsApp group linked on this page and follow the events calendar. There are no dues and no equipment to buy. Individual events may have small costs, such as coffee or a meal, and the listing states them before you sign up. Since the chapter is new, expect the first gatherings to be simple and low-cost.
