What is Longevity Zurich ?

Longevity Zurich is a free, science-based community for people in Zurich who want to stay healthy for longer. The Zurich chapter of Longevity Cities works hand in hand with the Longevity Switzerland team and brings together people who want to move more, recover better and understand the science behind it. No medical background needed.

Since March 2026 the meetups have ranged from a Health Night at Google on Europaallee and a biohacking workshop at ETH to a dinner at HIKARI on Weststrasse. In summer the group moved outdoors: picnics on the Rentenwiese by the lake, mornings of breathwork, yoga or Pilates followed by a swim in Lake Zurich, and a matcha walk. There was also a cryotherapy and red light evening.

Joining is free: create an account, join the Zurich WhatsApp group linked on this page and pick a date in the calendar. Longevity Zurich is a community, not a longevity clinic or a training studio. People come here to learn, compare notes on tests and check-ups and meet others who take healthy ageing seriously.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Longevity Zurich?+
Longevity Zurich is the Zurich chapter of Longevity Cities, a free and non-commercial community for healthy ageing. Since March 2026 it has organised dinners, picnics by Lake Zurich, workshops, walks and talks together with Longevity Switzerland. Everyone is welcome, whether you are deep into biohacking or simply curious how to stay fit and healthy into old age.
Is there a longevity clinic or longevity center in Zurich?+
Zurich has private clinics and check-up centres that offer longevity programmes, but Longevity Zurich is not one of them: we are a free community and do not diagnose or treat. In Switzerland a longevity blood test starts at roughly 280 francs, clinic check-ups typically cost roughly 1,000 to 2,000 francs and premium programmes go above 10,000 francs. Basic insurance does not cover them, so ask what decision each result would change for you.
Where can I get my biological age tested in Zurich?+
In Zurich you can choose between an epigenetic test sent by post, an extended blood panel through your GP or a private lab (longevity blood tests start at roughly 280 francs) and fitness markers such as VO2max and grip strength, which you can estimate for free with the tools on this site. Epigenetic clocks differ between providers, so read one result as a snapshot. Some meetups also run a short Longevity Check with grip strength against age norms.
What longevity events are there in Zurich?+
Longevity Zurich hosts a meetup about once or twice a month in changing formats: a Health Night at Google on Europaallee, a biohacking workshop at ETH, a dinner at HIKARI, Matcha & Zurich Walk, lakeside picnics on the Rentenwiese, breathwork, yoga and Pilates mornings and a cryotherapy session. New dates appear in the calendar on this page.
Is there longevity training in Zurich?+
Longevity Zurich is not a gym or a personal training service, but movement is part of every season: Pilates with a movement talk, breathwork and yoga, walks and picnics on the Rentenwiese by the lake, mostly free to join. For your own training plan, the free calculators on this site cover VO2max, zone-2 heart rate and protein, and there is a grip-strength test with age norms.
Can I try cryotherapy or red light therapy in Zurich?+
Yes, in July 2026 Longevity Zurich ran a recovery evening with cryotherapy and red light therapy at a Kältekammer in Zurich, with eight complimentary sessions for community members in a small group. Formats like this are a low-pressure way to try a method and hear first-hand experiences. Cold exposure is not for everyone, so talk to your doctor first if you have heart or circulation problems.
Where can I find a biohacking community in Zurich?+
Longevity Zurich is a free place in Zurich to talk biohacking and healthy living with an evidence filter. The Human 2.0 workshop at ETH with the Health Science Club and the Health Night at Google, where code meets biology and health tech, show the mix: hands-on, curious and science-led. Between meetups, questions go to the Zurich WhatsApp group linked on this page.
What does Longevity Zurich cost and how do I join?+
Longevity Zurich is free to join: create an account, join the Zurich WhatsApp group linked on this page and pick a date in the calendar. The lakeside mornings on the Rentenwiese were listed as free to join. You only pay for what you order yourself, such as your à la carte meal at the HIKARI dinner or a matcha to go, and each listing states costs upfront.
Are there free events in Zurich to meet people and work on personal growth?+
Yes, many Longevity Zurich meetups are free and built for conversation, so coming alone is normal. Past highlights include a Sunday picnic workshop on the Rentenwiese with holistic coach and NLP practitioner Alexandra Zuber about closing the gap between knowing and doing, plus meditation and breathwork mornings by the lake. The community is mixed in age and background, and all adults are welcome.
Are Longevity Zurich events in English or German?+
Longevity Zurich events are announced in English and the crowd is international, with conversations that switch easily between English and German. That makes the community a friendly entry point if you are new to Zurich. If language matters for a particular talk or workshop, the event listing says which one is used.
