What is Longevity Boston?

Longevity Boston is a free, science-based community for people in Boston and Cambridge who want to stay healthy for longer. It is the Boston chapter of Longevity Cities, a longevity community in Boston for students, researchers, professionals and anyone else who wants to talk about healthy aging without jargon or a sales pitch. No background needed.

The first event was a Matcha & Harbour Walk from the Seaport on 8 August 2026. Since then the group has met for a Coffee and Walk on the Charles, starting at VESTER in Cambridge on 19 September 2026. Coming up on 17 October 2026 is Sober on the Ship at The Tall Ship in Boston Harbor: an alcohol-free afternoon on the waterfront with good conversation and a small experiment in better sleep.

Joining is free: create an account, join the Boston WhatsApp group linked on this page and pick a date from the calendar. Longevity Boston is a community, not a longevity clinic. If you are searching for a longevity clinic in Boston, this is the place to learn what one offers, compare notes with other members and figure out which questions to ask before you book.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Longevity Boston?+
Longevity Boston is the Boston chapter of Longevity Cities, a free and non-commercial community for healthy aging. Its first meetup was a Matcha & Harbour Walk in the Seaport in August 2026, followed by a coffee walk along the Charles and an alcohol-free afternoon on Boston Harbor. Anyone is welcome, whether you study, work in research or just want to age well.
Is there a longevity clinic in Boston, and what does it cost?+
Yes, Boston has private longevity clinics, but Longevity Boston is not one of them: we are a free community and do not diagnose or treat. In the US, clinic programs typically run from a few thousand to over 20,000 dollars a year, self-pay. Ask which physician is responsible for your care and whether the price includes follow-up visits and supplements.
Where can I get my biological age tested in Boston?+
In Boston you can order an epigenetic age test by mail (roughly 200 to 500 dollars), join a biomarker blood-testing membership (roughly 350 to 500 dollars a year) or measure VO2max and grip strength for free with our online tools. Epigenetic clocks differ between labs, so treat one result as a snapshot and ask what you would do differently with it.
What longevity events are there in Boston?+
Longevity Boston hosts relaxed, social meetups. Past: the Matcha & Harbour Walk on 8 August 2026 and Coffee and Walk on the Charles on 19 September 2026. Coming up: Sober on the Ship on 17 October 2026 at 1 PM at The Tall Ship in Boston Harbor. Every date, meeting point and cost is in the calendar on this page.
Are there walking meetups along the Charles River or Boston Harbor?+
Yes, walking is the core format of Longevity Boston. The Coffee and Walk on the Charles starts at 10:30 on a Saturday morning at VESTER in Cambridge: you pick up a coffee or matcha to go, get a welcome from the team and walk along the river. The Matcha & Harbour Walk did the same from the Seaport. Slow walkers fit right in.
Are there alcohol-free social events in Boston?+
Yes, Sober on the Ship is an alcohol-free afternoon on The Tall Ship in Boston Harbor on 17 October 2026, with harbor views, good conversation and a little experiment in better sleep. Everyone pays for their own food and drinks. Our morning coffee and matcha walks are alcohol-free too, so you can meet people in Boston without a bar.
Does Longevity Boston include Cambridge, and can I join if I am not a student?+
Yes, Longevity Boston covers Boston and Cambridge: the Coffee and Walk on the Charles started at VESTER in Cambridge, other meetups at the Seaport and on Boston Harbor. You do not need to be a student or researcher. The community is open to anyone who wants to talk about healthy aging, from first-year students to retirees.
Where can I find a longevity or biohacking community in Boston?+
Longevity Boston is a free longevity community in a city full of research and medicine, where members swap experiences with movement, sleep and routines, and keep an evidence filter on it. Nobody needs to follow a protocol. Between meetups, questions and ideas go to the Boston WhatsApp group linked on this page.
Is Longevity Boston free, and how do I join?+
Yes, joining is free: create an account, join the Boston WhatsApp group linked on this page and sign up for a date in the calendar. You only pay for what you buy yourself, such as a matcha at the Seaport before the harbor walk or your food and drinks on The Tall Ship, and each listing states costs upfront. There is no membership fee.
